Session 1-5: Introduction: Understanding Chessboard, learning movement of pieces, and its relative values.
Session 6-12: Notations: Notation refers to an important technique used in the game of chess; Solving 1 move checkmate: Helps to recognize checkmate patterns.
Session 13-18: Checkmates using different pieces to learn about the movement of each piece
Session 19-24: 2 moves checkmate
Learning outcome
By the end of this program students will be able to understand the chess board, movement of pieces and notations required to compete on a professional platform. Additionally, by the end of this program they will be able to solve basic level 1 and 2 moves checkmate.
