A 100 Wishes Alex was stressed for his exam tomorrow, so he went for a walk to get some fresh air. As he was walking by, he saw a book on a bench. It looked really old, probably 20 years old at least. He picked it up and opened it, a bright orange light flashed on his eyes. After he gained consciousness, he stood up and wondered where he was. Then a man walked towards him, asked him if he had just got flashed by a bright orange light, and he agreed. Alex asked him for his name and he said his name was Felix, Alex noticed a birthmark on his neck, the one he also has. He didn’t think much at first and kept walking with him. Felix explained to him that he is in Wish Land, and told him that you get 100 wishes only. Alex asks if he can wish to go back home, Felix replies by saying that’s the only thing you can’t wish for. So, Alex wished for a car, it appeared in front of him within seconds. Alex was surprised, and asked Felix to hop in the car. Felix agrees and Alex drives them to the Wishing Forest, Felix explains that if you write anything on the leaves of these trees and let them float on the lake, your wish will be true. Alex was fascinated by this idea, but there were little to no leaves, Alex asks him why and Felix tells him that if you write the wish on these leaves, your 100 wishes will not be counted towards them. Alex understands and picks the last leaf of a tree, and he writes for a map, because Felix also didn’t discover much of Wish Land, even though he has been stuck here for 13 years. Alex let the leaf float on the lake, and both of them rode the car to The Grant Lake. Alex picked it up and the leaf transformed into an enormous map, and they followed the map to the Kingdom of Datum (grant) to meet the king, King Votum (wish) . After a quite long drive, they finally reached the palace. It was huge with crystal tiles on the floors and walls. The king was sitting on a large throne made of gold and diamonds. Felix asks the king for money and the king explains that they have to work for it. Alex and Felix agreed, they had to do Wish Shard mining, and they mined for weeks, while having exquisite meals with the king, telling them about the real world and the technology. After all their hard work, the king decided to give $500,000 worth of gold and diamonds because they got close with the king, and he never felt this happy in a long time when he was spending time with them. Alex accepted it gratefully and Felix did too, but they had to leave. After a long goodbye they went off and Alex checked the map, and the next destination was The Octroi City (The city of granting). Felix explained that he has some allies in the city. They reached and the city was massive, with tons of skyscrapers and cars. Alex felt like he was on Earth for a second, and then he realized that a lot of people were stuck and settled their lives here with no way to go back home. Felix finds his friend and shows him to Alex; his name was Tion. Tion was friendly and accepted Alex as his friend, Alex felt comfortable around him. After the meeting Tion shows them a hotel they could stay in, It was getting dark anyway, so they agreed and spent the night there. It was morning, Alex and Felix got ready and ate breakfast there and left for the reason they came here in the first place, to find the map to the Temple of Wisdom. Because the map that Alex wished for, didn’t have a way to go there. So, they are going to buy it from the money that King Votum gave them. Alex and Felix split up and gave each other $250,000 so that they have a better chance of getting it. Alex went to an ancient antique store for the map he bought the piece of the map which was almost the half of it. Felix went to a cartography store and got the other piece, they bought some tape and taped it together, now they can see the full map. They followed it and walked through the Temple. Alex finds a hole on the ground as goes inside it for curiosity and he is back on his table at home?! Alex realizes that was a hole toward Earth. So, he runs to the same bench and finds the book and opens it and gets teleported there and he immediately wished for a bus that can fit everyone in Wish Land and picks up everyone and drives them there and everybody starts forming a line, and just out of curiosity and the birth mark he saw on the neck, Alex asks what is his last name and he says Ambrose. Alex burst out in tears because he had found his long-lost twin, Felix Ambrose had been missing for 13 years. Felix asks him to show him their mom, Alex agrees while crying. They both go in the hole and Felix was in his room after 13 years. Nostalgia flooded his brain; he started crying with tears of joy. Felix shows himself to Mom and she starts crying, so does Dad. Alex goes out and brings the book and the title says, “A 100 Wishes”, and keeps it in his bookshelf because he will never forget the memory of finding his brother. EXCEPTIONAL WORK DONE BY ABHI ?
